Our mission at EDGE is to develop and supply novel clean-label and high-performance ingredients for the food industry.
Our development of gelling citrus fiber, the first of our portfolio of activated fibers, solves the problem of using highly processed, label unfriendly, food additives to create food textures. We employ mild treatments that can turn pure fruit and vegetable waste into ingredients that improve food texture. The natural, non-GMO whole food fibers we create can make foods thicken or gel, replace unwanted additives and have a clean label declaration, like “Citrus Fiber” or “Carrot Fiber” or “Beet Fiber," etc.
Our line of all natural activated whole food fibers are designed for use in processed foods where an increased amount of dietary fiber is desired.
